Man, 23, seriously wounded in east-end stabbing

A 23-year-old man was in critical condition after being stabbed Tuesday night in Vanier but his condition has stabilized, police report.
Police responded to an altercation at 8:30 p.m.
One person has been arrested but no charges had been laid as of Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, police continued to examine to two crime scenes, one on Lafontaine Avenue south of Montreal Road and the second on nearby Lacasse Avenue.
