Kingston woman bites police officer

A local police officer was treated for minor injuries after being bitten by a woman he had arrested for theft.
On Wednesday afternoon, an Avenue Road resident returned home for lunch and saw a suspicious woman leaving his building.
The woman raised the man’s suspicions and he took a cellphone picture of her. He later learned that the woman had stolen some clothing from an apartment in the building.
He sent the photo to police.
