King: Let’s combat the scourge of poverty in Ottawa

In 2018, a report by Campaign 2000 examined the level of child poverty in Canada. My area of the city, Rideau-Rockcliffe, was ranked one of the most highly impoverished in the country, with nearly 6,000 children living below the poverty line.
