Kavanagh: Ending violence against women is everyone's job

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Montreal massacre. On Dec. 6, 1989, 14 students were gunned down at École Polytechnique just because they were women. This happened only days after the first female leader of a federal party had been elected. What a contrast.
