Karlsson skates Saturday morning

Erik Karlsson has taken a big step in the right direction.
The Ottawa Senators captain skated Saturday before the club’s morning skate to prepare for the Montreal Canadiens.  It’s the first time he has been on the ice since having foot surgery in June to repair a tendon in his foot.
Though there is still no timetable for Karlsson’s return this has to be viewed as a positive.
