Karlsson puts contract talks aside — for now

As training camp opened Thursday, Senators captain Erik Karlsson hit on a pair of touchy organizational subjects.
That would be his own long-term future with the club and the rather abrupt departure of former long-time captain Daniel Alfredsson from his management position.
