Kardish: Nothing wrong with relations between developers, city staff
The following rebuttal was submitted in response to the Citizen’s recent coverage of the retirement of city planner John Moser:
I read two recent Citizen articles about John Moser’s retirement party with interest. As a developer I (presumably) benefit from unfettered access to city staff and use this to my advantage. The reality is that my firm is required to file planning applications for each of our projects and is, therefore, obliged to deal with city staff and politicians.
