Jury dismissed in Rogers double-murder trial

The jury in the double first-degree murder trial of Cameron Rogers, accused of killing his parents in November 2016, has been dismissed.
Ontario Superior Court Justice Kevin Phillips dismissed three of 12 jury members Monday after canvassing the jury for availability to resume the trial in the new year.
That brought the total number of jurors to nine and meant it was “no longer properly constituted,” Phillips told the jury before dismissing them all.
