Jonathan Pitre recovering from successful surgery

Jonathan Pitre is in a Minnesota hospital recovering from successful gallbladder surgery as doctors closely monitor him for signs of infection. 
Pitre, 17, had his gallbladder removed Wednesday afternoon through small incisions made in his abdomen with laparoscopic surgical instruments. 
“He’s doing better today: His pain is manageable,” said his mother, Tina Boileau, on Thursday. “We’re hoping to see big improvements with his nausea in the next few days.&
