When Canadians are not talking about the weather, it seems there is a second topic they like to fall back on as they chat to a stranger at the bus stop or catch up with a neighbour over the back-yard fence: our health-care system.
Sometimes we are positive in our conversations, justifiably proud of one of the best health-care systems in the world. Often we are also highly critical — and there is no question that there is still work to be done.
