Jazzahead! Report II: An afternoon filled with German jazz

Last week on my Facebook page, I posed this question: “What German jazz groups or musicians do you know and like?”
Not that I was being very rigorous, but I wondered how good a job my large sample of jazz-loving, principally North American friends would do of cumulatively describing today’s German jazz scene.
