It’s raining generals – two public affairs Brigadier Generals each costing up to $173,000 a year

It is a time of growth in the Canadian Forces’ senior officer corps and no where is that more evident than in the Canadian military’s public affairs branch.
There are now two brigadier-generals from the public affairs world.
Col. Jay Janzen is being promoted to brigadier general to take over from Brig.-Gen. Marc Thériault, the former head of Canadian Forces Public Affairs.
Thériault was in charge of 60 personnel, give or take, according to the Canadian Forces.
