Inquest coming after worker killed in Prescott quarry

There will be an inquest into the death of a 77-year-old man who was pulled under water while working at a quarry in Prescott in 2017.
Clifford “Raymond” Lloyd died in hospital after the dragline excavator he was operating tipped and became submerged in the pond at the quarry. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding his death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.
A date and location have no
