Injuries in early-morning rowhouse fire in New Edinburgh

Ottawa Fire Services are reporting that they received two 911 calls reporting a fire in the basement of a row house at 221 Crichton Street in New Edinburgh early Saturday morning.
The fire started in an end unit of the 8 unit complex.
Firefighters were met by two occupants outside when they arrived at 5:30 a.m., and were still on the scene.
