Incumbent Tim Tierney and challenger Michael Schurter sidestep complaint in ward debate

Ottawa Coun. Tim Tierney and his challenger Michael Schurter faced off in a debate Friday, but both sidestepped the issue overshadowing the election race in Beacon Hill-Cyrville ward.
Tierney said he couldn’t discuss the municipal election complaint that Schurter filed against him with Ottawa police. It has been handed to the OPP anti-rackets branch to investigate.
