Inaugural march to raise awareness and funds for concussion support
Concussion victims were once restricted to bed rest in a dark room to deal with the symptoms associated with brain trauma.
Next weekend, concussion survivors and the general public are invited out in broad daylight to march on behalf of concussion awareness and research.
The University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI) is hosting the inaugural March for Concussion on Saturday, March 24 from 1-3 p.m. The one-kilometre march begins at the Urbanism Lab, 40 Elgin St.
