Icy roads ahead: Environment Canada issues freezing rain warning for Sunday morning
A fast-moving low pressure system is headed over the Great Lakes Saturday night. And for the Ottawa region, that means freezing rain Sunday morning.
Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Sunday. The low pressure system will bring brief snow or ice pellets at about 4 a.m., changing to freezing rain at about 8 a.m. and lasting until about 1 p.m, followed by drizzle, which will taper off at about 4 p.m.
