Hwy. 417 reopens after multi-vehicle crash at Moodie

A crash involving multiple vehicles closed down all the eastbound lanes of Highway 417 at Moodie Drive over the lunch hour Wednesday but luckily none of the four patients being treated by paramedics suffered serious injuries.
A first report was that “at least” seven vehicles were involved.
Paramedics got the call at 12:23 p.m. and as of about 1 p.m. had taken one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while paramedics assessed three others at the scene.
