Hungry Bluesnest killdeer chick 'thriving' at wild bird care centre

It’s not Bluesnest but one of the baby killdeer whose threw a wrinkle into Bluesfest planning is “thriving” at the local wild bird centre.
He’s a big eater though.
“Help keep him in crickets so he continues to learn hunting and foraging,” the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre tweeted Thursday with a video of the youngster pecking busily and cheeping.
