Humane society seeks help giving 'Northern beauties' a second chance in Ottawa

The Ottawa Humane Society is appealing to animal lovers to help them give 22 “northern beauties” rescued from the streets of a remote northern community the second chance they deserve.
OHS volunteers and staff welcomed five kittens, eight cats, seven dogs and two puppies Monday from Obedjiwan, a First Nation in northern Quebec.
