How to tell dangerous wild parsnip from other plants

Summer is a time when two common roadside plants are blooming, and people sometimes mix them up. That might not matter with most wild flowers, but one of these can be harmful.
Wild parsnip and Queen Anne’s lace are both members of the carrot family. Both have clusters of tiny flowers arranged in a circle that is mostly flat on top. And if you just look at photos of them, it can be hard to tell the difference.
