Homicide squad probing Lowertown stabbing, victim on life support

Ottawa police homicide detectives have now taken over the case of a Friday afternoon Lowertown stabbing that left a man on life support.
Patrol officers responded to the stabbing around 4:20 p.m. Friday and found Ilyas Ibrahim, 43, bleeding from multiple stab wounds to his upper body outside an Ottawa Community Housing apartment building at 380 Murray St.
