Homicide squad leading probe into missing Inuk woman

Ottawa police homicide detectives have taken over the case of a missing Inuk woman whose daughter fled Ottawa the day after her disappearance, this newspaper has learned.
Susan Kuplu, 37, was last seen in Ottawa on Jan. 11.
She lives with her daughter on Penny Drive, but was reported missing by other family members.
On Jan. 12, her daughter Lennese Kublu and Lennese’s boyfriend Dwight “Apollo” Brown hopped a bus to Toronto.
