Highway 7 closed as cyclist dies after struck by van near Perth

Provincial police say a cyclist has died of injuries he received when struck by a cube-van onHighway 7 near Perth Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the scene at about 6:30 a.m.
Preliminary indications are the eastbound cyclist was struck from behind.
Drivers are advised Highway 7 will be closed while the collision site is investigated.
Westbound traffic is diverted to Drummond Concession 7 and then south on Highway 511, while eastbound vehicles are to be diverted north on Highway 5
