Heat warning in effect but actually autumnal temps are on the way

At 31.8 C, Sunday was Ottawa’s hottest day since records began and Monday is forecast to be even hotter.
The capital is under a heat warning but expect more typical temperatures by the end of the week.
Environment Canada is predicting a Monday high of 32 C with a humidex of 40 and a low of 17 C. 
Tuesday is expected to be 31 C which will again feel more like 40 with a low of 18 C.
