Health unit reports possible contaminated cannabis in Renfrew area

PEMBROKE — Renfrew County and District Health Unit has received reports of unexpected seizures among cannabis users in the Renfrew area.
The public is being warned that there might be contaminated cannabis (cannabis mixed with other chemicals or street drugs) circulating in this area.
The health unit said recreational cannabis use remains illegal and that cannabis use has health risks best avoided by abstaining.
