Ottawa-raised, Toronto-based guitarist Harley Card has been putting out albums as a leader at a measured pace. First there was his debut, Non Fiction, in 2008 — the same year he was a semi-finalist in the Montreux Jazz Festival Guitar Competition. Then came his follow-up in 2013, Hedgerow. I thought that Card made a lot of musical progress between his first and second albums, and I’d say he’s made another big leap, in par
