Handguns seized during Centretown traffic stop

A Thursday night traffic stop in Centretown took a turn for the dramatic when Ottawa police officers discovered handguns in the vehicle and on a passenger they had just released.
The Ottawa Police Service said its patrol officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Cambridge and Arlington streets, near Bronson Avenue and the Queensway at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.The officers discovered the 25-year-old driving the vehicle was sought on an arrest warrant.They arrested the driver and released a 31-y
