Government funds research for Canadian special forces soldier system, other gear

Up to $5 million will be spent to fund research in three defence-related areas. Proposals are being requested to support the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command and efforts to “enhance next generation Special Operations Forces integrated soldier system equipment, land mobility, and maritime mobility platforms and fighting vehicle platforms.”
Other areas of interest include improving efficiency of defence infrastructure as well as supporting the All Domain Situational Awareness
