Psychedelia and other sonic experiments abound on The Wooden Sky’s latest album, Swimming in Strange Waters, which is partly inspired by frontman Gavin Gardiner’s interest in sci-fi literature. Always a favourite with Ottawa-based audiences, the Toronto-based band makes their semi-annual trek to the NAC Presents series, arriving Friday, Oct. 27, for an 8 p.m. concert in the NAC’s Azrieli Studio.
