The Thirteen Strings Chamber Orchestra launches its concert season on Oct. 12 with Oboefest, a celebration of the notoriously difficult-to-learn instrument. Guest soloists are oboist Anna Peterson, a Wisconsin-born musician who’s also a certified yoga teacher and member of the NAC Orchestra, and violinist Manuela Milani, another NACO member, and concertmaster of Thirteen Strings.
