Foodies can make a tasty day trip this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to the annual Kricklewood Farm Sunflower Festival (421 Kitley Line 8 Rd., Frankville) about one hour southwest of Ottawa. Visitors can tour the sunflower fields, shops at the farmers and artists markets, and sample the wares of seven chefs who will prepare dishes that use Kricklewood Farms’ oil.
