Glavin: There's hope – however faint – for another Arab Spring
It may be too soon to call this week’s stunning upheaval in Algeria a sign of the Arab Spring’s second coming, but it’s the most encouraging victory Arab democrats have scored for themselves in years. While the revolutionary tumults that spread from Cairo’s Tahrir Square across North Africa and the Levant in 2011 were mostly crushed, Algeria has rekindled hopes.
