Give Thomas D'Arcy McGee's statue the honour it deserves

Over the years, many Citizen articles have been written about the assassination of Thomas D’Arcy McGee, including the recent retelling of the tale by Bruce Deachman. Yet there is part of the story that has yet to be told, except in a few old books, about the bizarre and incredible fate of McGee’s statue, and the omission by the federal government of any official honours.
