Gatineau's Aumont becomes first Champions pitcher to throw a no-hitter

Former major leaguer Phillippe Aumont pitched the first no-hitter in Ottawa Champions history on Wednesday night.
The Gatineau product, who joined the team this year, struck out 11 and walked just one as the Champions beat a Dominican Republic touring team 7-0 at RCGT Park.
Aumont, 28, is now 2-1 on the year with a 3.12 earned-run average in five starts for the Can-Am League baseball team.
