Gatineau man charged in Walkley Road robbery

A 22-year-old Gatineau man is facing charges including armed robbery in a convenience store heist on Walkley Road last month, police said Thursday.
On Monday, police asked for the public’s help to identify a suspect in the Feb. 8 incident.
The robbery unit reported that at about 1:30 a.m., a man entered the store near Albion Road, produced a knife and demanded money before fleeing with cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
