Gatineau hospital temporarily cuts elective surgeries by 10 per cent

The Gatineau hospital is rescheduling 10 per cent of its elective surgeries over the next two months as it deals with a shortage of specialized nurses.
Guy Morissette, director of medical services for the hospital, said Friday patients may be treated in other Quebec hospitals in Buckingham, Maniwaki and Shawville.
