Gananoque woman arrested for defrauding disabled client

Gananoque police on Wednesday charged a 47-year-old woman with fraud after she allegedly stole more than $2,000 from a disabled client.
The accused was “in a position of trust” and was providing health care to a disabled client, police reported Thursday.
“Over the course of several weeks the accused used her client’s bank card and PIN to make several unauthorized withdrawals and purchases – over $2,000 in total,” police added.
