G2 driver nailed doing 167 km/h on Airport Parkway

A young driver with a restricted G2 license was taught a hard lesson Wednesday night after police caught him travelling at more than twice the speed limit on the Airport Parkway.
Police tweeted that the unidentified driver was clocked at 167 km/h on the 80 km/h route.
The vehicle was towed and the driver had his licence suspended for a minimum of seven days.
The offence qualifies as “stunt driving” because it was more than 50 km/h over the posted speed limit.
