G-O-A-L-L-L! Bars can open early during soccer's World Cup

The province’s booze regulator will let bars start serving at 9 a.m. during the FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
With the time change, some Cup matches begin as early as 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. during the first 10 days of competition.
Soccer fans would normally have had to wait until 11 a.m. to tip a glass, but the province will permit early indulgence.
The province said no municipality objected to the early hours. Individual establishments can choose not to participate.
