Future of Ottawa autism camp, other programs at risk as school funding yet to be approved

The future of an Ottawa day camp for children and youth with autism is in doubt as the province reviews a program that allows charities to use schools in the summer free of charge.
Camp Kaleidoscope, run by the charity Children at Risk, has been operating for eight years at Ottawa Catholic School Board schools. During that time, attendance has increased by 400 per cent, said Brenda Reisch, who is executive director of Children at Risk.
