Former St. Pat's teacher faces more sexual assault charges

A high school teacher who has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl at a local Catholic school now faces more charges.
In March, Ottawa police charged 55-year-old Robert Lavergne with sexual assault and sexual exploitation for incidents involving a girl under 18 that allegedly took place between 2014 and 2016.
He was teaching at St. Patrick’s High School in Alta Vista at the time.
On Thursday, police said the Ottawa man faces more charges, including three additional counts of
