WESTPORT — There was a time when Ron Stewart owned the Grey Cup.
He won the championship trophy three times as a member of the Ottawa Rough Riders (1960, ’68 and ’69), and was named the CFL’s outstanding Canadian player and Canada’s male athlete of the year in 1960.
