Florian Hoefner Trio CD reviewed

If I recall correctly, Florian Hoefner, the exceptional German-born jazz pianist now based in St. John's, Nfld., became a Canadian citizen this year. Given that his new album, First Spring, includes an original track entitled Winter in June, I'd say Hoefner gets Canada as well as anyone born here. Read More
