Five architecture teams invited to compete for super library design contract

There’s heavy Canadian content in the five-team shortlist that will compete for a contract to design the $168-million super library on LeBreton Flats.
The city announced the teams Tuesday after a nearly year-long process to accept and scrutinize entries. The city received 33 submissions after releasing a request for qualifications. The shortlisted teams will be the only ones invited to answer the city’s request for proposals.
The teams competing for the contract are:Bing Thom Archite
