Firefighters 'rewarded with hugs' after freeing tyke's finger

Firefighters were called in to free a six-year-old’s finger Thursday morning after the tyke slipped on a washer that no amount of parental effort (and soap, one bets) could budge.
“Kids put their fingers in the darndest places,” the fire department noted.
