Firefighters quell blaze in Dresden Crescent home

A 911 call from a passerby on Sunday evening alerted Ottawa Fire Services to smoke and flames from the second storey windows of the home at 893 Dresden Cres. 
Firefighters said no one was home at the time of the call.The fire was declared under control at 9:13 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
OFS said in a news release that a fire investigator had been sent to the scene to determine the cause.
