Firefighters call second alarm at blaze in Orléans strip mall

Ottawa firefighters have called a second alarm for a fire at an upholstery store and other businesses in an Orléans strip mall Saturday.
Alarms were sounded just before 1 p.m. as heavy smoke was spotted pouring from the mall on St. Joseph Boulevard near Grey Nuns Drive.
Several buildings were fully involved in the fire, and the first wave of firefighters were advised not to enter the buildings.
