Fire crews make quick work of Kanata garage fire

When a neighbour called 911 reporting grey smoke in the area of Banning Road and Bradley Farm Court Friday morning, fire crews were able to track it to a fire in a nearby attached garage and put out the flames before it spread to a home.
The lone occupant of the home got out safely.
