Fire at North Gower school extinguished quickly

Ottawa Fires Servies report that at 11:34 a.m. they received several calls about smoke coming from the North Gower Public SchoolA working fire was declared by a volunteer firefighter at 11:38 a.m. With heavy black smoke coming from the roof and propane tanks from roof work nearby, a second alarm was declared.The fire was confined to the roof only.
